Using the finest handwoven silks combined with French lace and ribbons, Lisa creates tallitot, chuppot, torah mantles, challah and matzah covers and any other fiber creation you may wish to have designed. Lisa enhances these creations with Hebrew embroidering. Personalization is her specialty.
For the gentlemen's tallitot Lisa uses vintage silks from the late 1920's and early 1930's with their distinctive Art Deco designs, geometric patterns and unusual color palettes.
“I am committed to making your tallit a unique statement of your personal style, and to transforming your dreams into reality.”
With a constant and deepening connection to Judaism the designer describes the work of creating a piece of Judaic art as, “Hiddur Mitzvah,” as transcendent, going beyond the simple act of sewing something functional and beautiful and elevating it to a religious dimension.

The joy and love of fulfilling G-d’s command is expressed through a dedicated, all-embracing attitude to mitzvah observance. The Jew endeavors to perform each commandment in the most beautiful fashion.
The beauty and importance of the action is matched by the quality of the tools used. The Jew’s efforts and endeavors should, likewise, seek not only to fulfill the basic commandment but also to be involved in hiddur mitzvah, beautification and enhancement of the mitzvah in the most beautiful manner. his The Sages interpret the verse, “This is My G-d and I will glorify Him” (Exodus 15:2) as an exhortation to beautify the commandments in the most glorious fashion.“

What is most special about Lisa’s work is that each tallit is custom-made. She will work together with you, to discuss the design, color, atarah, corners, size and all other aspects of the tallit. She also hand dyes the kosher shamash tzitzit and together with the Bar or Bat-mitzvah ties them together binding the client to the actual mitzvah.
"I use fabrics as a painter would use color to create unique pieces designed to enhance your spiritual experience. Taking the time and making an effort to create or acquire the most beautiful ceremonial objects possible in order to enrich the religious observance with aesthetic dimension.“
